We are currently looking for a skilled and compassionate Autism Specialist Educator to join our dedicated team. As a qualified teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive learning environment for students with autism, empowering them to reach their full potential.

About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative educator to lead a team of teaching assistants and contribute to the development of our students' learning and independent skills. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching students with autism, with the ability to adapt their teaching methods to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of students with autism
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive education program
• Manage a team of teaching assistants to ensure effective classroom management
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers to update them on progress

Qualifications and Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience of teaching students with autism (essential)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage stress
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
