We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team at Autism Unlimited. As an experienced educator, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism, providing them with a nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development.

About the Role
This is a full-time position, requiring a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) holder who can deliver effective lessons to inspire, engage, and motivate pupils. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing a range of sessions across the week, developing the learning and independent skills of our students using a creative but structured approach.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of teaching assistants to support the class
• Access specialist facilities such as therapy pools and sensory rooms
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to meet the needs of students with autism
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement inclusive practices

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience of teaching students with autism (desirable)
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to contribute to the school's community events and activities
