Job Title: Primary Education Specialist

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Education Specialist to join our team at Kaden Education Recruitment Limited. As a Primary Education Specialist, you will be responsible for teaching children with special educational needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Company Overview:

We are a dynamic special school in the London Borough of Brent, serving an incredible community of nearly 200 pupils from Reception through Year 6. Our school provides a supportive and enriching environment for children with diverse learning needs, including a significant number with autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan and deliver tailored lessons for small classes of 7 to 10 pupils in Year 2/3, adapting the curriculum to meet the needs and learning styles of each child.
  • To collaborate with support staff and other teachers to ensure each pupil receives consistent, individualised attention.
  • To implement EHCPs and monitor pupil progress, adjusting strategies to promote learning, independence, and confidence.
  • To create a supportive, engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to participate.

Requirements:

We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in primary or SEND education. The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching children with special educational needs, ideally with knowledge of autism support strategies. Strong understanding of SEND teaching approaches, including behaviour management and communication support, is essential. Patience, empathy, and creativity to engage pupils and make learning accessible and enjoyable are also required.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary and a supportive, collaborative team environment. Professional development opportunities tailored to SEND education are available. The chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, is a key benefit of this role.
