About this role as a Teaching Assistant in Camden

Your responsibilities

  • Record and report a pupil's progress to the teacher.
  • Establish a warm relationship with the pupil to support their well-being and learning during their time at the school.
  • Contribute to providing high-quality educational activities and experiences through supporting the teaching of a broad curriculum aiming at pupils achieving their full potential.
  • Respond to the varying needs of the school and adapt to tasks presented to ensure smooth operation.
  • Promote pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being.
  • Maintain a safe learning environment for the pupil.

What you need to succeed

  • Good behaviour management and organisational skills.
  • Level 3 qualification in education.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Hays.
  • The right to work in the UK.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per year
