Mental Health Practitioner Role

Join Tripod Nursing's dynamic 24/7 service in Lancaster, North Lancashire, as a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner. In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will conduct mental health assessments, intervene when necessary, and collaborate with various professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments to protect service user safety and wellbeing.
  2. Develop and communicate effective risk management strategies with relevant teams and agencies.
  3. Deliver exceptional patient care, addressing diverse mental health requirements.
  4. Foster collaboration between multidisciplinary teams and external agencies for cohesive care.
Position Overview:
  1. Location: Lancaster, North Lancashire
  2. Work Pattern: Rotating shifts to cover a 24/7 service (full-time or part-time available)
  3. Contract Duration: 3 Months
  4. Rates:
  • Weekday Rate: £25.00 per hour
  • Saturday/Night Rate: £33.00 per hour
  • Sunday/Bank Holiday Rate: £40.00 per hour
Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE availableRequired Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Registration in a core profession such as RMN (NMC registered), OT, or Social Worker.
  2. Previous experience working in fast-paced mental health settings.
  3. Strong competencies in risk assessment and management.
  4. Flexibility to adapt to rotating shifts and collaborate within a team setting.

The estimated salary for this role is £31,000-£36,000 annually, based on regular working hours and specified payment rates.
