Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner – Initial Response Service
Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join the Initial Response Service in Lancaster, North Lancashire. This role involves working in a dynamic 24/7 service to provide timely mental health assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeing of service users.
- Provide timely communication of risk management strategies to other professionals and agencies.
- Deliver high-quality care, supporting service users with diverse and unpredictable mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
Position Details:
- Location: Lancaster, North Lancashire
- Work Pattern: Shifts covering a 24/7 service (full-time or part-time available)
- Contract Duration: ASAP – 31/12/2024
- Rates:
- Weekday Rate: £25.00 per hour
- Saturday/Night Rate: £33.00 per hour
- Sunday/Bank Holiday Rate: £40.00 per hour
- Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
Requirements:
- Core profession such as RMN (NMC registered), OT, or Social Worker.
- Experience working in a fast-paced mental health environment.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and management.
- Ability to work across shifts and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
