Mental Health Pharmacy Specialist

The position of Initial Response Service Pharmacist is available at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The role requires a skilled pharmacist to provide medication advice and guidance, supporting clinicians in medicines management-related queries.
This position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve patient care through medicines optimisation. As the first point of contact for medication advice, you will be responsible for providing guidance to primary care colleagues, individuals who use our services, and carers.
Additionally, you will contribute to patient assessment, undertake medicines reconciliation, and deliver medicine optimisation interventions. Your expertise in non-medical prescribing will also be utilised where appropriate.
Our goal is to ensure people with mental health issues have access to necessary support at the right time, resulting in positive outcomes.
