Nephrology Department Administrator

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Nephrology Department as an Administrator Assistant. The successful candidate will provide clerical support to the Division of Medicine under the supervision of Renal Secretaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register attendances and update patient demographic details in the patient administration system.
- Provide typing support to the Division of Medicine under the supervision of the Renal Secretaries.
Person Specification:
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
- Basic skills of empathy and reassurance.
- Basic keyboard skills.
- Ability to use basic email system and document clearly, using plain English.
- Basic understanding of health and safety requirements in a patient environment.
Requirements:
- Maths and English at level 2 or above (GCSE A C or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in any subject.
- Proven prior customer services experience.
