About the Role: Academics Ltd are recruiting for a Learning Disability and Behavioural Specialist to join their team in Bristol. As a key member of the school's staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and behavioural challenges.

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with pupils who have mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour, and have learning disabilities such as Autism. You will require excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to commit to the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and behavioural challenges
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective support

Requirements: A graduate degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role. Some previous experience working with SEN children is desirable, although not essential. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to the full academic year and have excellent behaviour management skills.

Salary and Benefits: The expected salary for this role is between £83.33-96.15 per day. Relevant previous experience would include youth work, support work, mental health work, and SEN in sport.
