About this Job

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at a school in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience working with children who have SEN and challenging behaviour.

The successful candidate will work 1:1 with pupils who require support with mental health difficulties, learning disabilities such as Autism, and emotional needs including trauma and Looked After Children.

This role requires a confident, experienced SEN teaching assistant who is enthusiastic and passionate about supporting children's education. Excellent behaviour management skills and restraint training are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet each child's needs
  • Work closely with pupils who have mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, and emotional needs

Requirements:

  • Graduate or experienced teaching assistant
  • Experience working with children with SEN and challenging behaviour
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Desirable: restraint training

Salary: Competitive daily rate of £83.33-£96.15 in Bristol
