About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Learning Disability and Autism Practitioner to join our team. As a senior practitioner, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) plans, working closely with individuals, families, carers, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Line managing PBS Practitioners, providing guidance and coaching to ensure successful plan implementation
  • Taking time to understand the lived experience of the individuals you support, helping them build tools for independent living
  • Supporting families, carers, and other professionals to apply and embed PBS steps for long-lasting impact
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Positive Behaviour Support practitioner accreditation - BTEC level 4 or equivalent, covering clinical, theoretical, and practice elements
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, with a willingness to travel across the area
