We are seeking an experienced Learning Disability Social Care Specialist to join our team at Hoop Social Work.

Salary: £36,030 per annum (equivalent to £36.03 per hour).

About the Role:

The Learning Disabilities Team at Swindon CBC Adults Services requires two agency workers to join their team based at Euclid Street for an initial 12-week period with potential to extend.

You will work under a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of two days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of individuals with learning disabilities
  • Completing Care Act Assessments, reviews, and support planning
  • Offering supervision to colleagues and participating in the duty rota

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working in the UK as a registered social worker
  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate, registered on the update service or willing to apply
  • 3 Years of referencing
  • A valid driving license with access to a car for travel across the county
