Activity Coordinator

We are a senior living community committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. Our team is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that promotes engagement, socialization, and overall well-being.
Job Summary
The Activity Coordinator will play a key role in leading and executing programs for the community. This includes planning, developing, and preparing various exercises, social, recreational, and educational events that engage all senses and meet state requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Resident Programs team with planning and preparing activities that promote physical and mental stimulation
- Conduct transportation and medical transportation for residents as needed
- Maintain knowledge of local communities, services, and events and incorporate them into the activity schedule
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents and staff
- Promote teamwork and positive attitude among staff and monitor/attend activities as necessary
Requirements
- High school degree; additional college experience preferred but not required
- Experience in a senior living environment strongly preferred
- Two years' experience in activities strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills and general healthcare knowledge required
- Clear and insurable driving record, current driver's license, and willingness to drive a passenger van required
Salary and Benefits
$42,000 - $57,000 per year, depending on experience
