Activities Coordinator
**Duties**:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities and events for residents in a care facility.
- Develop and implement engaging programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with staff members to ensure activities align with the needs and interests of residents.
- Create a monthly calendar of activities and distribute it to residents and their families.
- Lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and outings.
- Provide individualized attention to residents who may require additional support or have specific needs.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and feedback for each activity.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as needed to enhance resident engagement.
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
- Strong organizational abilities to plan and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
- Creativity and innovation in developing engaging programs that cater to a diverse range of interests and abilities.
- Compassion and patience when working with residents who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
- Ability to adapt activities to meet the changing needs of residents.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
