About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our UK Public Healthcare team, focusing on the Central Bodies of NHS. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our customers to understand their complex challenges and provide innovative solutions using Splunk's big data analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing your own business portfolio, shaping the strategy for an exciting sector, and driving long-term account planning.
  • Leveraging industry-leading sales engineering resources to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Blending the Splunk sales methodology with your own sales acumen to drive success in complex sales environments.
  • Solving customer challenges and taking them on their data journey, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Working within a high-performance team to deliver beyond expectations and ensure efficient resource allocation.
About the Team

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in building, managing, and delivering successful sales results in the Central Bodies of NHS.
  • Unquestionable credibility in the Healthcare sector, with the ability to understand customer difficulties and apply the Splunk value stack.
  • Extensive Strategic Account Management experience (minimum 3 years) and experience leading the NHS through complex challenges.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, in English.
  • Experience of closing sophisticated, multi-million dollar software licence deals, through multithreaded networking and negotiation.
  • The ability to work independently and remotely, while being comfortable collaborating with other team members and corporate colleagues.

Location

This role is based in the UK, and you will be required to travel regularly to visit customers, work with your sales team, attend industry events, and participate in company forums.
