About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to join our team at NHS Resolution. As a key member of the executive board, you will provide strategic financial leadership and operational management, ensuring the organisation operates efficiently and effectively.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in providing strategic and corporate advice to board level. You will be responsible for advising the Chief Executive and Board on all financial aspects and complex policy issues relating to the operation of NHS Resolution and the administration of our indemnity schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective and efficient strategic financial leadership and operational management
  • Advise the Chief Executive and Board on all financial aspects and complex policy issues
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified accountant with extensive experience in providing strategic and corporate advice to board level
  • Highly numerate and able to quickly grasp the central government finance regime
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
