Job Description

This is a key role within the NHS England team, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of workforce, training and education (WT&E) resourcing. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Resourcing (Operations Improvement) to drive initiatives that support WT&E internal resourcing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver Strategic Reviews to ensure effective alignment and improvement of resourcing and functions.
  • Support resourcing activities post transition of the 'Creating the new NHS England' programme, including establishment control and processes to safeguard efficiency savings and uphold design principles.
  • Manage timely and high-quality information flows and reporting, including PMO reporting into WT&E Directors and relevant governance fora.
  • Risk and issue management alongside ongoing effective stakeholder management and relationships, using influence and improvement approaches to drive change and efficiencies.

  • Able to plan, monitor and adjust short-, medium- and long-term business and project plans, taking into account the overall strategic direction of the Organisation.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate keyboard skills.
Contract Details

Permanent position available, with a full-time working pattern. Salary: £53,755 to 60,504 per annum (exclusive of London Weighting), making it an attractive opportunity for professionals looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
