
Benefits Service Manager

At Carers First Careers, we are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Service Manager to join our team in Lincolnshire. The salary for this role is approximately £40,000 per annum.
The key responsibilities of this position include supporting the Central Services Manager in developing an innovative benefits service for carers across Lincolnshire. This will involve creating a culture of continuous learning and identifying gaps in current services to develop new functions that contribute to contract delivery.
This role requires someone with excellent leadership skills to motivate and inspire a team, empowering them to thrive through visible day-to-day leadership and management. You will create a positive environment enabling the team to work together to achieve their goals and cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
As part of this role, you will provide support to advisers with complex benefits enquires, appeals, and service delivery. You will be an active member of the Carers First team, collaborating with colleagues and Managers to provide benefits support and guidance.
To succeed in this position, you will have a working knowledge of social care and health, particularly in relation to adults, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will need knowledge of DWP benefits, particularly in relation to carers, including fringe benefits.
