Benefits Service Manager

**About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our benefits service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an innovative and engaging benefits service for carers across Lincolnshire.
The role involves supporting the Central Services Manager in creating a culture of continuous learning, identifying gaps, and developing new functions that contribute to contract delivery.
The ideal candidate will motivate and inspire a team, empowering them to thrive through visible day-to-day leadership and management, creating a positive environment that enables the team to work together to achieve their goals.
The Benefits Team Lead will cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and developing new partnership opportunities to create better outcomes for carers.
This role also involves supporting advisers with complex benefits inquiries, appeals, and service delivery.
To be successful, you will have a working knowledge of social care and health, particularly in relation to adults, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of DWP benefits, particularly in relation to carers, including fringe benefits.
You will also need to be able to lead and manage a remote team, develop and empower individuals to be their best, and evidence working in co-production and developing innovations to meet the needs of carers.
