About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at BMRetail. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Store Manager in Running the Store: Assist in maintaining excellent store standards, ensuring a high level of customer service, and driving sales growth through effective merchandising and visual displays.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, lead by example, and motivate your team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Develop and Coach Team Members: Identify and develop talent within the team, provide coaching and training to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Manage Store Operations: Oversee store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
  • Drive Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, stock control, and customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Management Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving store standards.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a range of hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
