We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at The Perfume Shop. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and coaching your team to deliver high standards and results.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to deliver the store's daily, weekly, and yearly targets, assisting your team with knowing what they need to deliver.
- Review store performance and action plans, feeding back any challenges to the Store Manager.
- Ensure the store is opened and closed at the correct times, adhering to all security procedures.
- Assist with the preparation and issuing of store rotas.
- Be responsible for the stock inventory, ensuring actions are implemented to minimize stock loss.
- Be passionate about coaching and mentoring staff, setting them up for success and encouraging development.
- A proven track record of management experience, from previous roles as an assistant/store manager in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for teamwork, knowing how to coach and develop a large team to deliver high standards and results.
- The ability to think and act strategically, enjoying the 'hands-on' day-to-day running of the store.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to customers.
- A commercial mindset, understanding the daily operational running of a store.
- The ability to be flexible with work patterns, including weekends.
- A competitive base salary.
- Annual KPI-based bonus.
- Commission at Christmas based on store sales and the number of hours worked.
