About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving sales growth.

As a Deputy Store Manager, you will be a hands-on leader who is passionate about developing and motivating your team to achieve outstanding results. You will work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain high store standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in leading the store team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve store standards
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives
  • Manage store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
