About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail LTD. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Development: Assist the Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team, focusing on individual and team growth, and ensuring a positive and inclusive store culture.
  • Store Operations: Oversee and manage all aspects of store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Performance Management: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to drive sales growth and improve store performance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
Requirements
  • Management Experience: Proven experience in a retail or hospitality management role, with a strong track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to drive business growth.
