Strategic Business Development Manager, AWS Ecosystem

FloQast is a pioneering fintech company dedicated to enhancing the lives of accountants by automating and improving processes and technologies. Developing strategic partnerships with software vendors and their ecosystems is crucial for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving success. As a Senior Alliance Manager, you will work closely with the AWS Partner team, AWS Marketplace, direct sales, account managers, and ecosystem partners to build and drive relationships that bring revenue to FloQast.
Job DescriptionThe role involves:
- Establishing expertise and credibility as the go-to person for all AWS-related matters
- Collaborating with the FloQast team, AWS sales team, and AWS Partner Network to foster joint sales initiatives
- Developing tactical plans to execute strategic AWS business initiatives in the mid-market to growth market segment
- Executing these plans using partnership and company resources (marketing, sales, product, customer success) to drive revenue
- Identifying high-quality leads through ongoing engagements with partners, including office visits, sales training, marketing strategies, and trade shows
- Building relationships with AWS employees, executives, and partners to recommend FloQast to their clients
- Taking ownership of follow-up and next steps to capitalize on partner relationships
- Working with the FloQast product team to comply with AWS technical standards
- Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams on various projects
- Informing and directing FloQast Go-To-Market Teams strategy, tactics, and skills needed to drive a strong relationship with AWS
- Traveling approximately 25-40%
- Performing other duties or tasks assigned to help the company meet its objectives
You will need:
- At least 7 years of experience in SaaS-based technologies, preferably in a Channel/Alliance/Partnership role
- Direct experience working for AWS in a partner-focused go-to-market role or experience at an ISV building out and owning a partnership with AWS
- Expertise in the ERP/accounting/financial management, Office of the CFO domain
- Experience negotiating partner contracts with C-Level executives
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to run timely, accurate meetings with C-Level executives and deliver compelling presentations
- Highly tenacious and committed to exceeding targets

- Able to remain organized and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
