Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Emergency Medicine team at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, leadership, and expertise to support the nursing and medical teams in the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to support the nursing and medical teams in the Emergency Department.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff and students.
  • Contribute to the development of the Emergency Department's strategic plan.
Requirements
  • Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification and registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience of working in an Emergency Department or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
