About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support Ward Managers and the senior nursing team, ensuring efficient ward operations and compliance with regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate staff rosters using Rotageek, including same-day changes and escalations as directed by the Ward Manager.
  • Update the daily staffing board with current nursing numbers.
  • Manage shift releases from Rotageek to Locums Nest to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Prepare return-to-work documentation and track sickness reports if Rotageek data is unavailable.
  • Monitor and record annual leave, updating Rotageek with approved requests and maintaining accurate leave records.

This role requires effective communication skills, excellent IT skills (MS Office), and experience dealing with confidential and sensitive matters. The successful candidate will have previous NHS experience, English GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent RSA/Business Admin qualification, and previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
