About the Role

As a Business Development Manager at Johnson Controls, you will play a key role in driving growth in the EMEALA data centre colocation vertical. Your primary objective will be to build relationships with key accounts and opportunities, expanding our presence in the Fire Suppression portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize account penetration of assigned accounts by providing a comprehensive range of Fire Suppression solutions, leveraging Johnson Controls' extensive portfolio of offerings.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with assigned colocation customers, consulting engineers, and design build contractors to earn basis of design (BOD), influence specifications, and lead account and project strategies.
  • Develop and refine account management plans to achieve success and drive growth in the EMEALA data centre colocation vertical.
  • Support the entire pre-bid, bid, and post-bid processes to ensure successful delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving Fire Suppression sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to travel between 25-50% of the time, both locally and within EMEALA.
  • A valid EU/UK driving license.
  • Fluent language skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Fire Suppression solutions within the data centre/colocation industry.
  • An existing network/relationships within the data centers industry (consulting engineers, contractors, and colocation operators), specifically around OFCI/CFCI programs.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Altify, and day-to-day software solutions (Outlook, Office, Teams, etc.).
