Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an Education Support Administrator to join their team.

As an Education Support Administrator, you will support teachers in delivering tailored educational experiences for children aged 2-11 with severe and complex learning, physical, and autism spectrum needs. Key responsibilities include assisting pupils with learning and therapy activities, contributing to behavioural and emotional support, and managing personal care needs.

  • Implement and adapt learning activities in line with the teacher's plans, providing feedback on pupil progress and engaging in planning discussions.
  • Offer specialist support, including physical and behavioural assistance for students with sensory, medical, and communication needs.
  • Help students with daily needs such as toileting, dressing, and eating, encouraging independence and social skills development.
  • Organise and manage learning resources, prepare classroom displays, and support the use of technology in lessons.
  • Collaborate with care professionals to implement therapy programs and administer medications as trained.
  • Supervise students during breaks, assist on educational visits, and create engaging, inclusive play-based learning opportunities.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, along with an understanding of behaviour management and support strategies.

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum.
