We are seeking skilled individuals to fill the role of Senior Residential Support Worker at Work With Vista in Liverpool.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a 3-bed home, providing high-quality care and support to children. The successful candidate will work closely with our children to implement care plans, promote independence, and create a positive and nurturing environment.

About the Role:

  • Work within a 3-bed home in the Walton Vale area of Liverpool.
  • Provide care and support to children, ensuring their wellbeing and helping them achieve their personal goals.
  • Implement care plans and promote independence in a positive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
  • Provide childcare support, engaging children in educational and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or needs.
  • Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
  • Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families where applicable.
  • Experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable.
  • Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
  • Previous experience supporting children with various needs is an advantage.
  • A valid driving licence.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
