As an experienced Family Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing vital support to families in need across Liverpool. This rewarding role offers a competitive annual salary of approximately 35,000.

Your key focus will be on delivering early help interventions to prevent family breakdown, address emotional and behavioral difficulties, and mitigate the effects of neglect, domestic abuse, and other adverse experiences. By doing so, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with children and families to develop personalized support plans.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to coordinate effective support services.
  • Offer direct support to children and families, incorporating counseling, therapy, and practical assistance.
  • Act as a strong advocate for children and families, securing necessary resources and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work or related field
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Proven experience working with children and families
  • Thorough knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team
