About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at SSP Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our retail units, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to customer service excellence and maintaining a clean, welcoming atmosphere in our retail units.
  • Guide and support colleagues, providing coaching and development opportunities to help them grow in their roles.
  • Coordinate team efforts to ensure operational efficiency, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.
  • Recognize and celebrate exceptional service within the team, promoting inclusivity and motivation.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders, communicating effectively and making thoughtful decisions to drive business success.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a supervisor in hospitality or retail, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading a team to achieve results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and motivate colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of our business.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service procedures.
