Job Title: Senior Business Travel Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a Senior Business Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert travel advice and assistance to our clients outside of normal working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert travel advice and assistance to clients via phone and email
  • Offer innovative travel solutions to clients in times of increased stress
  • Work closely with the day team to maintain high levels of customer service
  • Source and book flights, rail, hotel, and ground product for clients
  • Perform fare calculations and issue/re-issue tickets as needed
  • Provide quality control to day team processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with global travel news and communicate risks to senior management
  • Create and provide traveller tracking reports for clients in the event of a major event

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Sabre and Amadeus
  • Fares & Ticketing Level 1 & 2 (or equivalent experience) essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Good geographical and product knowledge of destinations and airlines
  • On the pulse with world events and likely travel implications
  • Good organisational skills and excellent customer service & communicative abilities
  • Flexible approach and desire to think 'outside of the box' to provide innovative travel solutions

What We Offer:

  • Circa £36,000 salary (dependent on experience) + bank holiday payments/bonus
