Global Travel Expert Wanted for Out-of-Hours Team

A leading global travel company is expanding its out-of-hours team and seeking a skilled Global Travel Expert to join their team. As a Global Travel Expert, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients over the telephone and by email, while offering a high level of service.

This role will involve working between 30-40 hours per week, covering daytime weekend shifts (approximately 3 per month) and weekday shifts (5:30 pm - 12 am). The successful candidate will have experience working in the travel industry, using Sabre, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients and accounts, including offline and email bookings
  • Provide first-class customer service to clients
  • Offer a variety of quotations to clients without favoring any airline or supplier, using Amadeus
  • Deal with emergency calls and situations for clients as and when they arise
  • Work closely with the Ticketing and Finance teams to ensure reservations and tickets are issued without any problems
  • Meet and exceed personal objectives in line with company KPIs and account SLAs

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the travel industry is essential
  • Experience using Sabre is required
  • Able to work between 30-40 hours per week, approximately 3 daytime weekends per month, and evening shifts
