Company Overview
A leading distributor supplying food, drink and catering supply products to various industries in the UK is seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller. This role involves liaising with internal and external customers to resolve day-to-day queries and ensure compliance with company procedures to minimize bad debt.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Monitor customer credit limits and spending, obtaining credit reports when necessary
  2. Collect overdue debt and ensure customer spend remains within established credit limits
  3. Produce reports for overdue accounts to facilitate collection calls, letter sending, and suspension of deliveries
  4. Follow company procedures for high-risk customers, changes in ownership, business closures, liquidation or administration

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Confidence and motivation

The estimated salary for this position is approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, based on industry standards and regional factors. The exact compensation will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
