We are seeking a highly organised Individual, who has great Communication skills and has a strong analytical way of thinking. This position will provide valuable support to our Finance Lead and offer an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development. The Accounts Administrator will assist in various financial tasks, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintaining compliance with internal policies and procedures. This position will very be analytically based, supporting in the creation of new budgets and the deep dives into certain areas of spend.

**Main Activities**
- General Ledger Maintenance: - Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording journal entries, Reconciling accounts, Updating financial statements.
- Financial Reporting:

- Support the preparation of regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, Collaborate with the senior accounting team to analyse data and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Expense Management: -Help manage employee expense reports, review receipts, process reimbursements, ensure adherence to expense policies and reconcile expenses against budgets.
- Data Entry and Recordkeeping: - Accurately input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets, maintain organized and up-to-date files for invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Audit Support: - Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries, help ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Administrative Support: - Provide general administrative assistance to the accounting department, such as filing documents, responding to inquiries, and supporting ad-hoc projects as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3 x GCSE's or Equivalent 4-9 (A-C)
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role (internships or part-time positions).
- Familiarity with accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Desirable to have AAT level 3 or upwards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
