Job Title: Children, Family and Carers Support Specialist
">About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our Children's Social Work team in Worcestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing direct support to children and families, preparing care plans, and presenting reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct work with children and families to provide emotional support and guidance.
- Assess the needs of children and their families, and develop personalized care plans.
- Prepare and present reports for case conferences and reviews, ensuring accurate and timely information is shared.
- Liaise effectively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Carry out home visits to engage with families and assess their needs.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in children's teams in the UK.
- An NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- A current CRB check.
- A full driving license and access to a car.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
