Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Children's Social Work Team Manager to join our team at Caritas Recruitment. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to foster carers, ensuring they deliver high-quality care and support to our children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To develop and implement effective strategies to support foster carers, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.
  2. To work collaboratively with local authorities, foster carers, and other stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for children.
  3. To lead investigations into allegations of significant harm to children, working closely with other professionals and line managers.
  4. To contribute to Foster Carer Annual Reviews, ensuring compliance with Social Work England regulations.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent social work qualification.
  • Postgraduate experience desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of childcare legislation and regulations.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
