About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain the highest standards of care and provide a positive and supportive environment for residents.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and personalized care experience.
  • Participate in safeguarding training and take responsibility for recognizing and reporting any concerns or signs of abuse.
Requirements
  • Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of residents.
  • Kindness, compassion, and empathy, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care and support.
