About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Willing Care. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to patients: Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Provide guidance and supervision: Mentor and support junior healthcare assistants to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the holistic well-being of patients, including their medical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Maintain accurate records: Keep accurate and concise records of patient care activities, ensuring that all relevant information is documented.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Prior experience as a Health Care Assistant and NVQ Level 2 above in Health and Social Care.
  • Skills: Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capability to work effectively in a team setting.
