About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to our service users, particularly those with complex care needs. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with our nursing team to provide personalized care and support, promoting independence and dignity for our service users.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with medication administration and clinical care tasks
  • Support service users with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Monitor and report any changes in service user's condition or behavior
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to develop and implement individual care plans

Requirements

  • 3 months previous experience in supporting children with complex care needs
  • Personal care experience, including moving and handling
  • Medication administration and clinical care experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
