About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with medication administration and management
  • Support with mobility and transfers, including wheelchair use
  • Engage in activities and hobbies with service users to promote social interaction and stimulation
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of service user care and support

Requirements

  • 3 months previous experience in a care or healthcare setting
  • Personal care and support skills, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Ability to administer medication and manage medication regimes
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
