In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments and coordinating care for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and risk evaluations to determine the needs of service users.
  • Coordinate assessment clinics, prioritizing appointments to ensure timely access to care.
  • Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

About You

You will be a highly motivated and compassionate individual with a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. Your expertise in risk assessment, treatment interventions, and crisis intervention will be essential in this role.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Mental Nurse (RMN), Registered Nurse for Mental Health (RNMH), or equivalent Social Work qualification.
  • Completion of relevant post-registration qualifications and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Extensive post-registration experience working with individuals experiencing complex mental health needs.
  • Proven ability to triage referrals effectively and coordinate care across various healthcare settings.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with service users, families, and colleagues.
