We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain the highest standards of care and provide a positive and supportive environment for residents.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and personalized care experience.
- Participate in safeguarding training and take responsibility for recognizing and reporting any concerns or signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
- Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Prepared to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate records.
- A competitive hourly rate, subject to experience and qualifications.
