Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Performance Manager to join our team at NatWest.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support, guidance, and insight to the executive and senior management across Finance and the wider bank, partnering with the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Investor Relations.

  • Supporting analysis and governance papers regarding the bank's annual five-year budget strategy and financial plan, analysing group trends with review and challenge to influence decisions.
  • Reviewing and challenging scenario analysis and high-level sensitivities for the bank, providing insightful analysis and commentary in support of onward communication to ExCo and the board.
  • Driving improvements to the budget process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities while streamlining processes in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

The Business Performance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing relationships across Finance and the wider bank, including business partnering with the Group CFO.
  • Providing commercial and financial expertise to inform business decisions, ensuring compliance with the bank's governance.
  • Communicating the bank's financial performance to senior management and the market.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A CA, ACA, CIMA, MBA qualification or equivalent.
  • Financial services and business partnering experience.
  • Good commercial decision-making and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex financial information in a concise, non-technical manner.

Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
