Educator for Children with SEN in Norfolk

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator for Children with SEN to join our team in Norfolk. As an Educator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional education to students with diverse needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, specific learning challenges, and social, emotional, or mental health barriers.

The ideal candidate will have QTS or QTLS, experience teaching pupils with SEN, and a strong knowledge of the curriculum and strategies for engaging SEN learners. A creative and flexible approach to teaching tailored to individual learning styles is essential.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including onsite clinical teams and experienced senior leadership teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of pupils with SEN and SEMH.
  • Leading and mentoring Teaching Assistants and Higher-Level Teaching Assistants.
  • Implementing school policies, including safeguarding and promoting equality.
  • Monitoring student progress, focusing on both academic and emotional development.

Estimated salary: £180-£230 per day. The location is in Norfolk, and the job type is permanent.
