Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Strategy Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, carers, and other professionals to provide high-quality support to children with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH in SEN Schools and Mainstream Primary Schools in Norfolk.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To assess the individual needs of pupils and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • To evaluate and report pupils' progress to teachers, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • To manage challenging behaviour in a positive and calm manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive training program to help you develop your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a positive and calm manner.
