We are currently looking for a skilled Childcare Assistant - Autism Support to join our team at UKCIL Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the life of a young child who requires additional support due to their autism diagnosis and sensory processing disorder.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to the child, promoting their independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism and sensory processing disorders and possess excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the child's unique needs
  2. Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation and personal care
  3. Accompany the child on outings to local parks and play areas, promoting social interaction and physical activity
  4. Administer medication as required, including inhalers or antihistamines
  5. Provide close supervision at all times due to the child's lack of danger awareness
