Autism Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will be working with students aged 8-18 who have a primary SEN diagnosis of Autism (ASC / ASD). You will play a vital role in supporting these students to engage with education, manage their behavior, and reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with pupils who have ASC/ASD and comorbid conditions such as ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, emotional and behavioral difficulties, and mental health needs. You will be confident in managing challenging behaviors and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with Autism in the classroom

Requirements:
- Experience of working with students with Autism and other learning difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Emotional resilience and patience
