About the Role

We're seeking an experienced SEN teacher with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting children and young people with a range of learning needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to students with SEND, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and other Additional Educational Needs.
  • Planning and delivering sessions that cater to individual students' needs, promoting holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
  • Working collaboratively with our Support Team to ensure seamless placements and successful outcomes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • An Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with obtaining one if needed)
  • The ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
