Permanent SEN Teaching Post in Norfolk
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Inspire EHC Ltd in Norfolk. As a dedicated educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to small classes of students with varying needs, including those with communication and interaction difficulties, specific learning challenges, and social, emotional, or mental health barriers.
Job Description:
This permanent SEN teaching position involves delivering high-quality education to students with SEN, adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs, leading and mentoring Teaching Assistants and Higher-Level Teaching Assistants, and implementing school policies to promote a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects, ensuring that content meets the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for students, including onsite clinical teams and senior leadership teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage SEN learners, promote inclusion, and foster a love of learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and collaboration.
- Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
Requirements:
- Hold QTS or QTLS qualification
- Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN and working with EHCPs
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the curriculum and effective strategies for engaging SEN learners
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold a valid full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle
Salary and Benefits:
